Toby and his colleague Mark installed my new storage heating system. They were efficient and extremely professional. They kept me informed at every stage as the work progressed and all health and safety requirements were adhered to.
Their end of day tidying up and cleaning was exemplary. Toby's follow up email to check that all was OK was much appreciated. Highly recommended.

From carrying out the initial viewing for quotation purposes to completing all the required work Toby and HomeSafe Electrical were highly professional.
We needed extra sockets put in throughout the house along with dimmer switches in a few rooms and the boiler earthing. This was all carried out in a day and Toby made sure we were informed of the progress throughout.
I will definitely use HomeSafe Electrical in the future.
Toby and his team were friendly and gave a very professional service. They talked through all my options and costing clearly and gave best solutions to my required work. They also worked clean and tidy.
Had Toby out to complete work on our flat several times. Great communication, punctual, clears up after himself and accommodating. We have always been satisfied with his work.

Hi All, I have used HomeSafe Electrical for the first time, and they were absolutely brilliant, provided me with a competitive quote, stayed in a constant email conversation, but most importantly, when it came to the job, they were professional, on time, and did a great job.
I will definitely use them again and wish for more companies like that, which is a rarity now. Also, I thought that I mention that the electrician that did the job was Toby great and knowledgeable person, five-star service 5/5. Thank you.

No, not necessarily. You need to get the electrical installation tested to confirm the condition of the electrical installation.
Fuse boards, fuse boxes or a consumer unit are designed to operate and safeguard the electrics within your home. It’s an important part of any home that will protect you in an electrical emergency. A fuse board has 3 key components; the main switch, which controls the main line of electricity into your home. The RCD (Residual Current Device) allows the electricity to “trip” when a dangerous fault or anomaly is detected in the electrical current. And finally, the individual circuit breakers control electrical circuits across the home, such as lights or sockets, and offer overload protection.
A well-installed consumer unit should offer adequate protection for many years, even decades. However, the regulations are constantly evolving, so It won’t always align with the current edition of the wiring regulations. The latest edition of the wiring regulations was released in 2018 and has had two amendments since.
The UK government legally permits minor repairs and maintenance without a qualified electrician. However, anything advanced, such as fusebox replacements, wiring a new circuit, and so on, will require a fully qualified electrician.
